Un lieu envoûtant, qui a la même façade que La Bellevilloise..

Un espace vaste de 380 m² (parquet) avec une vaste hauteur sous le plafond, avec une belle scène, une mezzanine ayant des places assises avec une jolie vue sur la scène et sur une salle de danse exquise avec des grandes baies vitrées. Une terrasse panoramique ayant des tables et chaises pour se poser et pour prendre l'air. Un espace rare et une lumière naturelle et exceptionnelle qui le caractérisent.

Dès votre entrée, vous serez fascinés et c'est ce que nous pouvions imaginer de mieux pour célébrer la nouvelle année ensemble. Votre présence est la seule chose qui nous manque.

A captivating hall, which has the same facade as the other famous location "La Bellevilloise" ...

A vast space of 380 m² (wooden floor) with a high ceiling, with a beautiful stage, a mezzanine with armchairs giving a nice view of the stage and an exquisite dance hall with large bay windows. A panoramic terrace with tables and chairs to sit and get some fresh air.

A rare space and an exceptional natural light that characterises it.
The moment you enter, you will be enthralled and this is the best we could come up with to celebrate the new year together.
Your presence is the only thing that we are lacking.

Les inscriptions et paiements :
1.

a. Les inscriptions seront ouvertes à partir de 21:00 (UTC+2) le mardi 10 septembre.

b. Nous allons envoyer une confirmation de votre inscription avec les modalités du paiement dès 12 septembre.

Si vous ne recevez aucun email jusqu'à 23:30 le 14 septembre, merci de nous contacter.

c. Une fois que vous recevrez l'email, vous aurez deux semaines pour faire le paiement.

d. Une fois le paiement reçu, vous recevrez une confirmation de ceci et de votre participation.

a. Pour les inscriptions seules : la confirmation de votre participation dépendra de la parité. Pour avoir une idée sur la parité/disparité : par exemple pour 150 participants, on aura un minimum de 70 personnes d'un rôle et un maximum de 80 personnes de l'autre rôle.

b. Pour les inscriptions en couples : si votre partenaire s'annule sa venue, vous devez trouver un(e) autre du même rôle et vous devez nous préciser de qui s'agit t-il. Si vous ne trouvez personne, votre participation dépendra de la parité.

c. L'inscription "en couple" ne signifie pas "couple dans la vie" évidemment, ni "homme et femme". C'est la complémentarité des deux rôles.

Le couple dans la danse est formé par 2 personnes : une s'inscrit en tant que guideur (guideuse) et l'autre en tant que suiveur (suiveuse) même si la personne peut changer de rôle pendant l'événement. On connaît des femmes qui guident et des hommes qui suivent et vice-versa.

Registrations and Payments :

a. The registrations shall be open from 21:00 (UTC+2) on Tuesday the 10th of september.

b. We will start sending a confirmation of the registrations with payment details on September 12th.

If you do not receive anything from us until 23:30 September 14th, please do contact us.

c. Once you receive the email, you will have 2 weeks to make the payement.

d. Once the payement is received, we shall send a confirmation of the payement and that of your participation.

a. For single registrations : the confirmation of your participation will depend upon the parity.

To have an idea of parity/disparity : for example for 150 participants, we will have a minimum of 70 dancers from one role and a maximum of 80 dancers from the other role.

b. For couple registrations : if your partner cancels their registration, you must find another in the same role and you must specify us who he or she is. If you do not find anyone, your participation will depend upon the parity.

c. The registration "as a couple" does not mean "couple in life" obviously, nor "man and woman".

It is the complementarity of the two roles. The couple in the dance is formed by 2 dancers : one registers as a leader and the other as a follower even if the person can change role during the event. We know women who lead and men who follow and vice versa.

Catering/Restauration

Pour nous, la nourriture est un élément très important d'un événement de tango, et même de la vie en général. Si la nourriture n'est pas bonne, alors rien ne l'est.

C'est pourquoi nous avons dû trouver quelqu'un, quelqu'un qui a l'art de la cuisine et qui soit l'élu. Et nous l'avons trouvé.

Nous sommes très heureux de vous informer que le service de restauration sera assuré par nul autre que le très cher et célèbre chef : Michel Ravinbleu.

Les organisateurs et les danseurs le connaissent et adorent ses services.

Il est l'élu.

For us food is a momentous part of any tango event, in fact of life in general. If food is not good, then nothing is.
That's why we had to find someone, someone who has the art of cuisine and who is the one. And we did. We are very pleased to inform you that the catering would be provided by none other than, the very dearest and celebrated Chef : Michel Ravin Bleu.

Organisers and dancers know him and love his services.

DJ Lua

Lua, nous l'avons entendue pour la première fois à Paris, à la milonga Florida, organisée par notre chère Angélica. Depuis, nous l'avons déjà invitée deux fois : d'abord à Marseille à En Tus Ojos (ETO) puis à Paris à La Vida Es Una Milonga (LVEUM ou La Vida). Elle sera de retour et enflammera la new year tango fiesta.

Une personne et une danseuse formidable également.

Elle va démarrer la fiesta le samedi soir (28/12/2024) avec sa musique pétillante.

Mesdames et messieurs, gardez vos chaussures et soyez prêts pour brûler et faire mal à vos pieds.

Lua, we heard her the 1st time in Paris, in Milonga Florida, organised by dear Angélica.
Since then we have already invited her twice : first in Marseille at the En Tus Ojos (ETO) and then in Paris at La Vida Es Una milonga (LVEUM or La Vida). She will be back and fire up the new year tango fiesta !
A wonderful person and dancer as well.

What she has to say about her journey :

" Lua is Italian and lives in Lisbon. She discovered tango in 2004 while walking along the banks of the Seine River and was completely fascinated. She DJed for the first time in the Portuguese Glorieta of the Estrela Garden in Lisbon. Since 2011, she has been organizing tango events in Lisbon (Milonga da Lua) and DJing throughout Europe and the United States. For her, each milonga is unique, each tanda tells a story, and each tango brings back memories of moments already danced. Today, her musical selection combines the tastes of all the milongueros she has met within the tango community. "

Ewa (ne cherche même pas de prononcer son nom de famille, vous allez casser vos dents), cette beauté splendide vit dans le cœur des tangueros et sa musique dans leurs oreilles. Elle règne sur le monde du tango depuis des lustres maintenant mais elle est intemporelle. Ce n'est pas la première fois que nous l'invitons, nous avons déjà eu le luxe de l'avoir comme DJ lors de la 3ème édition de l'ETO en 2017 (Marseille).

La Vida la verra pour la 1ère fois, une pure dynamite comme elle est, nous sommes sûrs qu'elle va vous offrir un après-midi que vous n'oublierez jamais.

Ewa, (dont even try to pronounce your surname, you will break your teeth), this splendid beauty lives in the heart of tangueros and her music in their ears. She has been ruling the tango world for ages now, but she doesn't age.

It's not the 1st time we are inviting her, we already had the luxury of having her as a DJ at the 3rd edition of ETO in 2017 (Marseille).

La Vida will see her for the 1st time, a pure dynamite as she is, we are sure that she is going to offer you an afternoon that you will never forget.

In her own words :

"London based, originally from Poland, Ewa has been regularly DJing at all major London milongas, and has played at various UK & European events since 2009.

She plays traditional tango, with emphasis on creating different moods and musical textures to offer a variety of emotions to the dancers."

About the neighbourhood/
Sur le quartier

Voici quelques informations sur le quartier.

Le lieu s'appelle "Le Solaris", situé au 25 Rue Boyer, 75020 Paris.

Il se trouve dans le 20ème arrondissement de Paris, à côté des deux autres lieux populaires "La Bellevilloise" et "La Maroquinerie".

Les stations de métro les plus proches sont Ménilmontant (M2) ou Gambetta (M3).

À 10 minutes à pied de Ménilmontant et à 7 minutes de Gambetta (mas o menos).

Il est également relié par le bus (96) :

Pyrénées - Ménilmontant est l'arrêt le plus proche, à 2 minutes à pied.

Le quartier est cosy et verdoyant, avec de nombreux restaurants et bars/brasseries époustouflants tout autour de la rue. Si vous vous promenez depuis la station de métro vers le lieu, vous serez submergé par son charme.

Bien sûr, décembre n'est pas l'été à Paris, vous n'aurez pas le luxe de vous asseoir dehors et de boire un verre tout en profitant du soleil, mais bien sûr, le plaisir sera d'un autre niveau si vous êtes avec nous.

Concernant l'hébergement, rien à ajouter. Vous pouvez trouver tout ce que vous voulez où vous voulez. Paris est stupéfiant mais petit, donc bien desservi par les transports publics. Comme alternative, vous pourriez utiliser Taxi/Uber/Bolt et autres.

Here is some info about the neighbourhood.
The venue is called "Le Solaris", located at 25 Rue Boyer, 75020 Paris.

It is in the 20th district of Paris, or 20ème arrondissement de Paris as the French call it, next to the two other popular locations "La Bellevilloise" and "La Maroquinerie".
Nearest metro stations are Ménilmontant (M2) or Gambetta (M3).
10 mins by foot from Ménilmontant and 7 mins from Gambetta
(mas o menos). It is also connected by bus (96) :

Pyrénées - Ménilmontant is the nearest stop, 2 mins by foot.
The neighbourhood is cosy and green, with a bunch of stunning restaurants and bars/brasseries all around the street. If you take a walk from the metro station towards the venue you will be overwhelmed by its charm.
Of course December is not summer in Paris, you won't have the luxury of sitting out and having a drink while enjoying the Sun but sure thing, the fun will be on another level if you are with us.
About lodging, really nothing to add. You can find anything anywhere you want.

Paris is astonishing but small, so is well connected by public transport.

As an alternative, you could use Taxi/Uber/Bolt and what not.
